Nitrogen oxide sensors ensure a reliable monitoring and control of the exhaust gas cleaning components in diesel engines. They precisely measure the nitrogen oxide concentration in the exhaust gas and support an efficient exhaust gas aftertreatment.

Particulate matter sensors monitor the function of the particulate filter in diesel engines. The particulate matter sensor is installed behind the diesel particulate filter and measures the remaining particle flow in the exhaust gas.

The diagnostic software uses the data to check the functionality of the diesel particulate filter. In this way, Bosch particulate matter sensors help to reduce particulate emissions by up to 99%.

Invented by Bosch in 1976, Lambda sensors have made a significant contribution in order to fulfill current emission standards. To date Bosch has produced more than one billion lambda sensors.

By measuring the oxygen content of the exhaust gas, the lambda sensor supplies the necessary information for the right air/fuel mixture to the engine control unit and supports a powerful engine combustion.

Steering angle sensors

The steering-angle sensor provides information about the steering-angle and slew rate of the steering-angle to numerous safety and driver assistance systems like: Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Advanced Front Lighting System, Electric Power Steering, Park Assist and Driver Drowsiness Detection.

Throttle valve angle sensors

Throttle position sensors are installed at the throttle valve to determine its position and angle. They measure the required data with high accuracy.

Crankshaft sensors

Crankshaft sensors determine the rotational speed and the position of the crankshaft with top accuracy. These data are used by the engine control unit (ECU) to determine the precise injection/ignition timing.

Camshaft sensors

Camshaft sensors accurately determine the position of the camshaft. Their high measurement accuracy allows precise injection/ignition timing and accurate camshaft adjustment.

The temperature sensor measures the temperature of various fluid media, such as water, fuel, or oil, over a wide temperature range.

Knock sensors reliably and precisely detect engine knocking, thus supporting the engine's performance and durability.

Inertial sensors are a combination of yaw rate sensors and acceleration sensors. The rotation of up to two axis and acceleration in up to three directions can be measured by these sensors.

Manifold and boost pressure sensors

The manifold and boost pressure sensor enables fast and precise measurement of the pressure and temperature of the intake air of combustion engines. It thus supports the exact regulation of the fuel quantity.

Differential pressure sensors

The differential pressure sensor monitors the differential pressure of the particle filter to provide information about its charge status. Consequently, the differential pressure sensor provides the foundation for a demand-based particulate filter regeneration.

Oil and fuel pressure sensors

The oil and fuel pressure sensor ensures rapid and highly precise measurement of fuel and oil pressure in every kind of combustion engine (gasoline, diesel, CNG, LPG) and transmission. This measurement is used to control the amount of fuel or oil supplied by the pump.

High pressure sensors

The high-pressure sensor measures the fuel pressure within the fuel rail of diesel direct injection engines. The engine control unit needs this information for the exact dosing of the fuel quantity to be injected. The sensor version for natural gas (CNG) measures the pressure inside the pressure regulator module.

Air mass meters from Bosch quickly and precisely measure the actual air mass flow rate for an optimized air-fuel mixture, supporting an efficient fuel combustion and powerful engine performance.
