Performance Upgrade at Bosch: New Battery Master Switch
Reliability for New Challenges
For over 40 years, Bosch battery master switches have been a component for electrical system isolation in demanding applications such as mining, agricultural machinery, and other off-highway sectors. Given increasing demands for performance and protection classes, Bosch now presents
a new model.
Bosch has further developed its proven
4-pole battery disconnect switch 0 341 003 004. The new version meets the increased requirements of special vehicles through significantly improved resistance to high-pressure water and dust.
The New Bosch Battery Master Switch: 0 341 003 006
The new Bosch battery disconnect switch 0 341 003 006 is designed for a continuous load of 500 A and peak loads of up to 3,500 A (5 sec.). Its IP6K6K protection class prevents the ingress of dust and high-pressure water jets, enabling use in environments with intensive vehicle cleaning or high dust exposure. It is also suitable for 12V and 24V systems.
The Tried and Tested Battery Master Switch: 0 341 003 004
The established Bosch battery master switch 0 341 003 004 remains in the product range. It offers a continuous load of 250 A and a peak load of 2,500 A (5 sec) and will continue to be offered for applications requiring this performance scope. Both switches are manufactured in Europe and comply with Bosch's global quality standards.
Application Areas
Bosch's 4-pole battery master switches are designed for use in environments requiring safe and reliable electrical isolation. Typical application areas include mining, off-highway vehicles, and other heavy-duty applications.
With the introduction of the 0 341 003 006 switch, Bosch offers an additional option within its range of battery disconnect switches to meet the increased demands for performance and IP protection class in specific applications. The choice of the optimal switch is made based on the specific operating conditions.
