The "Location Gateway Unit (LGU)" is the primary software interface of the radar sensor, through which all measurement data and associated system information are output.
Up to 255 individual locations can be transmitted per measurement cycle. Each location represents a detected point within the sensor's detection range and is enriched with a set of specific metadata to allow for detailed interpretation of the measurement.
Each location is transmitted as a separate data object and contains the following exemplary metadata (see table).
In addition to the locations, the LGU continuously transmits other important status and system signals.
